When is the event?

Saturday October 21st or Sunday October 22nd

Note: Ambassadors can pick which day they prefer to host.
What is the purpose? Bring the entire Plexus Brand Ambassador community together to connect, cast vision, share success, learn, and equip attendees with the skills and strategy to create momentum and growth in their businesses.
What are the objectives?
  1. Bring Plexus Brand Ambassadors together in a forum where they can connect with one another, build on common beliefs and vision, share ideas, and enjoy a high value-add experience.
  2. Help a new Brand Ambassador experience their first Plexus event.
  3. Strengthen attendees’ connection to Plexus, its products, and the business opportunity.
  4. Get news, announcements, and plans for the coming months.
  5. Train and equip Brand Ambassadors with skills and “Win the Day” strategies to move their businesses forward.

Target Audience Who is the target audience of this event? Brand Ambassadors. The primary objective of the Momentum Meetup is to engage and re-engage Brand Ambassadors. We have thousands of Brand Ambassadors all over the United States, yet only a small fraction are able to attend Convention. The idea is to get as many Brand Ambassadors as possible to reconnect with Plexus and join us in the tremendous opportunities ahead of us.
Attendance Can a guest or prospect attend the Momentum Meetup? Absolutely! Plexus is a company that welcomes everybody! The culture and content of the event will create a positive experience for anyone who participates.
Event Concept How does this event concept work? The Momentum Meetup concept is corporate designed and promoted, but Brand Ambassador hosted and executed. Brand Ambassadors will host events in their local markets: at home, restaurants, receptions centers, hotels, golf courses, roller skating rinks, or wherever they want to gather. Corporate will provide Brand Ambassador Hosts with meeting resources and content to successfully put on the event.
Event Announcement When will this be announced to the field? To be determined.
Plexus Participation Will Plexus corporate executives or sales team members be traveling / participating in these events? An event with 100-200+ confirmed guests registered may request for a corporate executive to participate in / speak at their event. If you are planning a large event in your local area and would like to request a corporate speaker, please send an email to: Success@plexusworldwide.com. The number of corporate guest speakers is limited and will be assigned first come, first serve after guest registration numbers are confirmed.

Details for Registration When it comes time for registration what will the Host need? The information the host will need:
  • Host name(s)
  • Host phone and email
  • Venue address/details
  • Exact date and time of the event
  • If required for attendance, how to register or RSVP for your event (registration link, FB event, etc.) Note: The Host will receive a video/PowerPoint (available in English, French and Spanish) via drop box before the event date.

Questions related to Hosting Who does a Host contact for any questions or issues regarding registration, event resources, or anything related to hosting? Please send questions to the following email: Success@plexusworldwide.com. This initiative is being planned and coordinated by Ambassador Success Team. A dedicated FB group will be available to ask questions and allow hosts to collaborate.
Nearest Event Where will a Brand Ambassador go to find the event nearest to them? Plexus will post the list of Meetups online and in the Plexus Community and Jewel Facebook pages.

Promotion of Event Is it required for a Host to promote their event as an open event? Brand Ambassadors will indicate on the Host registration form if they’d like their event to be private, please select “No” on the form where it asks if you would like your event published. Any private, event will still receive all event resources and content, but their event will not be openly promoted by Plexus.
Host Who can be a Host? Any qualified Brand Ambassador in good standing with Plexus may host an event in their local market. There are no rank or qualification requirements. However, we do encourage Brand Ambassadors at the Gold rank and above to lead out in this effort.
Venue for Event Who is responsible for providing the venue for the event? Hosts are responsible for identifying the venue for their event. There are no requirements or restrictions. Be creative and have fun! Events can be hosted at homes, community centers, restaurants, hotels, and be as big or small as you’d like. Hosts are responsible for choosing the venue and for any costs associated with the venue, including rental space, A/V rental, food & beverage, etc. Hosts may elect to charge a reasonable attendance fee to help offset the costs of hosting the event.
Host Registration Decision How will Hosts register their attendees? The registration method (or any registration at all) is at the discretion of the Host. If a Host would like to formally register their guests, we recommend free services like EventBrite or TicketLeap. Creating a Facebook “Event” or using other free RSVP apps from the App Store are also effective methods.
Cost to Attend Is there a cost to attend a Momentum Meetup? This is at the sole discretion of the Host. A Host may decide to charge a small fee to cover costs incurred to host the event. For example, some Hosts may choose to host the meeting at a restaurant and have food served. In this case, the Host would likely request a registration fee from attendees to cover the cost of the food.
Resources Plexus provides What resources will Plexus provide for Hosts? Plexus will provide guidance and content for event Hosts, such as:
  • Link to View Recording of Plexus Momentum Meetup Host Call 2023.
  • “How to host your event” document (shared upon Host registration).
  • A customizable presentation template in both PowerPoint and Adobe (before the event date).
  • The Plexus event Video – Most of the content for the event created by Plexus corporate will be found in this pre-recorded video (before event date)
  • Event kit with product samples and giveaway items.
Recommended Equipment What equipment is necessary to host an event?
  • Computer/laptop to download the Plexus event video and PowerPoint/Adobe presentation.
  • Some type of TV or projector & screen with audio capability to play the video.
  • Internet access (recommended but not necessary if the video has been downloaded to your computer).
  • Other equipment may be necessary depending on the size of the event (microphone, sampling supplies etc.).
