What is the Points Requirement Adjustment?
As a way to incentivize Ambassadors to continually build a balanced business, Plexus has made an adjustment to the way Pay Points are earned. Here’s how it works.
- Starting May 1st, 2019, Ambassadors will be eligible to earn Pay Points according to their Highest Achieved Rank.
- The Ambassador's Highest Achieved Rank will determine the total Pay Point earning, which allows an Ambassador to earn all the available Pay Points for that particular Rank up to, but not including, the minimum point requirement of the following rank.
- Example: This means that if, in a given month, an Ambassador’s work earns the Highest Achieved Rank of Gold, they are eligible to earn Pay Points up to, but not including, the minimum 250-point requirement of Sr. Gold (which is the next rank).
- In this example, since the minimum point requirement for Sr. Gold is 250, with a Rank of Gold, the Ambassador may earn up to 249 Pay Points.

Why are we making this change?
Periodically we make small changes to our Compensation Plan to align with current industry standards. These changes are always made with the best interests of our Ambassadors at heart.
This requirement adjustment is designed to encourage balanced and consistent business building activities, while encouraging stable, long-term growth. In addition, this adjustment more adequately aligns with our desired culture of engaged leadership through customer, Ambassador and Leader development and support.
When does this adjustment take place?
This adjustment will become permanent May 1, 2019 giving Ambassadors through the month of May (four calendar months) to make any necessary adjustments to their business.
How will I be affected?
Care has been taken to minimize the financial impact to affected Ambassadors. Personal calls, emails and in some cases, personalized coaching is being offered to assist in minimizing commission losses. There is an anticipated increase in the Pay Point value as a result of the remaining points being redistributed in the system.
How will I know if I am not meeting this qualification?
Plexus will be reaching out by phone and email to notify each Ambassador who is not currently qualified as well as provide training on this adjustment.
