For All Agents
This article summarizes recent changes to the rules for calculating Pay Points, in case Brand Ambassadors contact Customer Service with general questions about their point totals. For detailed questions, the agent will escalate to their lead.
Summary of Recent Change
On June 1st, 2020, Plexus began rolling out changes to the Pay Point earning potential throughout each market in a phased approach. These changes have not taken effect in all markets.
For those affected Brand Ambassadors, the Brand Ambassador's rank determines the total Pay Point earning potential. A Brand Ambassador can earn all the available Pay Points for a particular Rank up to, but not including, the minimum Point requirement of the next higher rank.

The percentages change according to this schedule: 50% overage is paid as of June 1st 2021, 25% overage is paid as of June 1st, 2022, and 0% overage is paid as of June 1st, 2023.
Highest Achieved Emerald: 1499 Points max, plus a percentage of overage Points
Highest Achieved Sapphire: 2999 Points max, plus a percentage of overage Points
Highest Achieved Diamond: 4499 Points max, plus a percentage of overage Points
Escalate Further Brand Ambassador Questions
Because this is a complicated change and is not likely to be a large call driver, requests for more details should be escalated to a lead, who can refer the Brand Ambassador to Commissions for detailed answers.
If a Brand Ambassador has more questions: Escalate to a lead if a Brand Ambassador is asking about the recent Pay Point changes, including their specific overage points, how their market is affected and when, or any other detailed questions.
Leads: Review escalated Pay Point questions, then escalate to the Commissions Team as appropriate for resolution.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is Plexus making this update?
Periodically we make small changes to our Compensation Plan to align with current industry standards. These changes are always made with the best interests of our Brand Ambassadors at heart.
This requirement adjustment is designed to encourage balanced and consistent business building activities, while encouraging stable, long-term growth. In addition, this adjustment more adequately aligns with our desired culture of engaged leadership through customer, Brand Ambassador and Leader development and support.
What would cause someone to earn lower pay points after this update?
Brand Ambassadors who did not have the required Personally Sponsored Qualified Brand Ambassadors and/or Points outside their Primary Leg, but were receiving unlimited pay points above their current Rank, would cause lower pay points.
Will Brand Ambassadors earn all other commissions based on my Highest Achieved Rank?
No. This only applies to the amount of total pay points you can earn. All other requirements, such as number of personally sponsored Brand Ambassadors, or their downline levels, will still be based on the Brand Ambassador's Paid Rank.
Will this affect any contests or incentives?
No. All contest and incentive requirements will still be based on the Brand Ambassador's and their organization’s activities. This update will only impact Pay Points.
What if I am A Canadian Brand Ambassador and have questions?
Brand Ambassadors should reach out to their upline Jewel for further questions.
