Engage App Sampling System
The sampling system is a way to encourage people to become an Ambassador or Customer. Use this feature in the Plexus Engage App to send free samples to your prospects.
Here’s how sending a sample in the Engage App works:
Ambassador offers a free sample of a Plexus product to a prospect
The prospect can accept the offer by clicking a button
The prospect fills out the shipping information for the sample and submits
The Ambassador clicks “Send a sample” to ship the free product (as long as you have credits available)

Who can use the Sampling System
If you are an Ambassador in Canada, Australia or Mexico, you can access and log in to the Plexus Engage App. The app is currently only available as a U.S. English and Spanish tool at this time, you may need to use the one-time ship option when you buy the sample credits with a USA address.
Credits may be purchased from the app in 1 or 3 pack increments.
Please follow the steps in the table below to purchase sample credits.

|4.||Tap the picture for the quantity of credits you want to purchase. (This will automatically send you to the Plexus website where you can purchase credits and they will show up in the app within 10 minutes of enrollment as a Brand Ambassador.)|
1 Credit is equal to one sample which is currently $4.95. / 1 Credit = 1 sample = $4.95.
At this time, 3 credits are issued to all new Brand Ambassadors who enroll. They will show up in the app within 10 minutes of enrollment as a Brand Ambassador.
Notes on credits:
- Sample credit purchases are final and will not be refunded.
- Sample Credits are only good to use through the Mobile App – Brand Ambassadors will use these credits to send out Samples from the App
- Sample Credits will be visible and available to purchase and use for US Brand Ambassadors only
- Sample Credits expire 5 years from purchase/earned date
- The system prioritizes the use of any credits that expire, starting with those that expire soonest
- Sample Credits are like any other products on our website – they go through the same checkout flow and can be added to monthly subscriptions

How to Add Prospects into Your Address Book
You can only add Prospects to the app through:
- Offering a sample
- Sending a sample
- Sharing a video or PDF from the "Share" button
These actions load your prospect for future use and contact management as a “Warm Coffee Cup” status.
The app allows you to access your address book, or manually enter a name only (for Facebook Messenger) if you don’t have their phone and/or email. The best way to see how this works is to put yourself, name, phone, email into your own phone’s contacts. Then, go offer a sample or share a video to yourself via text message. Engage with the videos sent and see how the system works.
Using the Prospect System
You can offer a sample by a text or a conversation outside the app and get their address verbally (since most are not in your phone address contacts), however; there are a few considerations. First, you should still send the “offer” from the app since people tend to type their own address correctly which prevents bad shipments as well as, second, this shows the prospect you have a true, duplicating “system” which may appeal to them if they are not as personable as you are.
Your sample goes through phases that are displayed in the app:
- Ready to ship
In addition, during these phases you will be alerted to send text messages to your prospect so that you can stay in touch and enhance the sampling experience for your prospect. As you send the sample, a credit is deducted from your balance and a list of all sent are there for you to view status.
If you experience a phase delay after the order shows "Ready to ship" please Contact Plexus Customer Service to assist with trouble shooting the status.
