What is a Chargeback?
A chargeback occurs when a cardholder disputes a charge with their financial institution.
When a chargeback is filed:
- Funds are removed from Plexus while the bank investigates.
- Plexus is charged a $25 chargeback fee.
- The account is placed on suspension and remains suspended until the investigation is complete.
How to Reinstate Your Account:
The Account Holder must:
- Contact Customer Support (phone, chat, or email)
- An agent will provide the account holder with steps on how to proceed, via email.
Payment Requirements:
If the dispute is decided in favor of Plexus:
- Pay the $25 chargeback fee.
If the dispute is decided in favor of the Account Holder:
- Pay for the original order and the $25 chargeback fee before the account can be reinstated.
Important Reminder:
- Accounts cannot be reinstated while a chargeback investigation is active.
- No exceptions will be made to waive the $25 chargeback fee.
